Karnataka TET is an exam will be conducted by the Karnataka State Government as per the rules and regulation of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). KARTET is important eligibility criteria for teaching aspirants who want to attend the primary teacher exam (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (classes 6 to 8) of schools in the state.
Eligibility for Karnataka TET 2020
Paper I – KAR TET Required minimum qualification for teaching class 1 to 5 Std Examination
2nd PUC / Senior Secondary pass or its equivalent or with at least 50% marks should be obtained and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
2nd PUC / Senior Secondary pass or its equivalent with at least 50% marks should be obtained and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
2nd PUC / Senior Secondary or its equivalent pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Degree or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Graduation Passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.Ed Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
2nd PUC / Senior Secondary or its equivalent pass at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
